Superclean is dreamy indie pop dressed up for a stylish night out. Los Angeles duo The Marías indulge in old-school glamour on this short-but-sweet EP, whether that means the lustrous minimalism of cool-jazz torch songs ("Basta Ya") or the strutting rhythms that snake through vintage disco hits ("I Like It"). But while they're undeniably slick, the pair also never stray far from classic indie pop cuddliness, just as likely to trade irresistibly cute harmonies over shimmering waves of guitar on "Only in My Dreams."
