Lorrie Morgan and Pam Tillis were pop-country queens of the '90s, but in 2013 they delivered a rootsy duo album. The follow-up finds them honoring their roots with an all-covers approach. Not only do they lend their rich, emotive pipes to old-school country classics like the Skeeter Davis weeper "The End of the World" and Billie Jo Spears' sentimental "Blanket on the Ground," but they dip into other genres, giving The Everly Brothers' lonesome stroll "Walk Right Back" a royal reboot and soaring on Roy Orbison's tragic, cinematic "It's Over."
