Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature fundraising community event creating the experience of a life time for the participants – including cancer patients, their families, companies, and entire communities. At Relay For Life Events across Idaho, communities will come together to honor cancer survivors, remember loved ones and fight back against the disease. Relay For Life teams fundraiser though out the year, then come together to celebrate what they have accomplished. Each Relay For Life event offers entertainment, games, celebration and remembrance. Relay For Life Events in Idaho take place in communities across the state from the months of April to September. For information on how to order contact Wendy fisher at email@example.com

Beating cancer takes more than breakthrough research. It takes things like our 24/7 cancer helpline, places to say when treatment is far from home, free rides to chemo and so much more. We are always looking for opportunities with local individuals, groups and businesses to help with the American Cancer Society mission to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer. Click here for ways to get involved with our passionate community and to give hope to those who have been touched by cancer.
Time to get started. We kick off the event by honoring everyone who’s been affected by cancer and everyone who has contributed to the success of this year’s Relay season.
Survivors and Caregivers are the heart and soul of Relay For Life events. We honor their strength and courage with every step they take. It doesn’t matter if you were diagnosed 10 days ago or 10 years ago, you can walk while everyone gathers together to cheer you on.
During this ceremony we represent everyone touched by cancer with a Luminaria. Each light represents a life—a life taken by cancer, a survivor of cancer, or a support for a person still fighting the disease. It’s a powerful demonstration that gives people the opportunity to grieve but also offers comfort and hope.
Our closing ceremony is the time to commit to take action and help lead the fight for a world free from cancer. It’s a time to celebrate what we’ve accomplished together and a time to unify for the work that needs to be done moving forward.
