I’m really looking forward to this Walk Season, and I want to recruit an awesome team of individuals. At the center of all of this is why we Walk. In 2018 my Family had to say goodbye to my Mother, Connie. She fought a long and hard battle with Dementia and Alzheimer’s. It was never easy, but Mom always had a smile and was ready to dance at any given moment. One of the few years she made it down to the walk, she entertained everyone doing the Twist. Finding that first survivor is still the goal, but along the way HUGE jumps in research have given us all hope that one day families won’t have to endure what we went through.
