  • Punisher Punch, Chum Lee and Avenged Sevenfold

Big J’s Punch to the Face goes out to actor Thomas Jane today. While the fellas were in Vegas over the weekend, they attended a comic convention to hunt him down in the flesh with full hopes to chat it up with The Punisher. Well, when they approached him with “Hey Thomas, we are from a radio station in Boise, Idaho that interviewed you on our morning show awhile back.” His response, “Oh, cool.” After complete deflation and embarrassment, The Morning After walked away defeated. But, here we are with the upper hand, punching Thomas Jane right in the face! Bamm!

  • Aaron Paul, Big J Jaw-Jack and Hemp Fest

Today’s Bad Impression goes out to Boise’s own Aaron Paul. Last night, Aaron took home his second Emmy Award for his supporting role in Breaking Bad.

  • Boise State Victory, Big J's Life Lesson and Growing Change

Morning After News: your Boise State Broncos pulled away with a “W” in a true nail biter on the blue turf last night. The boys in blue once again failed to score a single point on offense, but thanks to a stellar defensive performance and a beast named Michael “Bacon” Atkinson, they pulled in a pick-six, giving them a 7-0 lead on BYU. With just a few minutes left on the board, BYU punched in a TD of their own, bringing the score to 6-7. Going with a very ballsy move and aiming for the win, Bronco Mendenhall called for a two-point conversion. One incomplete pass and a bunch of white-knuckled onlookers later, your Boise State Broncos pulled in a 7-6 victory, moving their record to 2-1. Up next? The New Mexico Lobos @ 4PM in Albuquerque, New Mexico on September 29th.

  • Bad Impressions, The Red Light Variety Show and X-Fest

Today’s Bad Impression pulled in another victim this morning. Actually, I think we are the victims for having to talk about Lindsay Lohan. She was just arrested for a hit and run in New York. Can this woman not stay out of the news? C’mon man! So instead of posting a photo of of her, I decided to go with something a bit more pleasant. You know, kind of like how they throw in images of flowers between slides of those STD videos from high school.

  • Walter White in Texas, Hysteria and Pat Mac

Morning After News: In sports, the NFL replacement refs are under heavy scrutiny, especially after a two hour first half during Monday Night Football this week. In music, a rumor is out that Pearl Jam and Soundgarden might go on tour together sometime next year. They both have new discs on the way and Matt Cameron bangs the drums for both bands, so it would only be fitting for this tour to happen. If they come to Boise, I might need a change of underwear. A teacher from a high school in East Texas, William Duncan, was caught cooking and selling meth on school property in true “Breaking Bad” fashion. As I got deeper into the series, I knew it was only a matter of time before people started trying to mimic the show. It's television people! Come on, you aren't Walter White.

  • DVDumbass, Ambush Tactical and Retirement?

Today, Big J selected a flick called “Hysteria” on DVDumbass from a pool of three movies including “The Magic of Belle Isle” and “Salvation Boulevard.” So, tonight from the comfort of his own couch, Big J will be learning about the origin of the female sex toy. Tune in tomorrow for a full on review of that.

  • Big J's Punch to the Face, Chrome at the Home and Cage Match

Big J’s Punch to the Face goes to a woman named Jennifer Worick for writing a book called “Things I Want to Punch in the Face.” He’s quite flustered over the fact that someone else wrote this book and claims that every idea in the book was stolen directly from him. Since he refuses to punch a woman in the face, he will give the book a good ol’ sucker punch. The next Big J brilliant idea that will probably get stolen before he does anything about it? “Beardom,” a website that sells beard care products and cruises around in a beard themed RV. You know, like a creepy ice cream truck, but with beard care products. For some reason, I keep picturing Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal.

Nic - II    Big J

Monday - Happy Birthday Peter Loeffler! Hard to pick a favorite Chevelle song which is probably why there was a tie between Anj's choice of The Clincer and Big J's choice of Send the Pain Below. Tie it is.

Tuesday -  Songs that could use subtitles that make sense?  The tie goes to Nic with his choice of Pearl Jam Yellow Leadbetter although Big J's choice of Static X Cannibal was just as inaudiable.

Wednesday -  Happy Birthday Spike Jones!  Thank You for the awesome videos you gave us. Today's rock war ends in yet ANOTHER TIE.  Nic's choice of Tenacious D Wonderboy beats Big J's choice of Beastie Boys Sabotage.  Hard to chose for sure but somebody has to come out victorious.

Thursday -  War with Rock

Friday -Rock War your ass into the weekend..!@
