  • Bad Impressions, Hurricane KO and Richard Riehle

Today’s Bad Impression goes out to Winona Ryder. She turns 41 today and still looks pretty darn fantastic. You can find her voice as Elsa Van Helsing in the movie "Frankenweenie" and she is currently busy filming a flick called "Homefront," which will be released sometime in 2013.

  • Big J's Life Lesson, Eric Peronnard and Do-It-All Doug

During Sports with Pete, we discussed some Thursday Night Football action where "Do-It-All" Doug Martin represented Bronco Nation in a huge way. The rookie running back pulled in 214 total yards and 2 touchdowns, including a career-high 135 yards on the ground and 79 yards through the air on 3 catches. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers rolled over the Minnesota Vikings 36-17 on the road last night as Doug Martin out-rushed one of the greatest running backs of all-time, Adrian Peterson.

  • Tech Tour, Busted Bieber and Mark Duplass (The League)

Over in Detroit, a Michigan man has officially sued Justin Bieber on multiple allegations. The man claims to be the father of Bieber’s long-time girlfriend, Selena Gomez, and states that the pop star stole $426.78 from him so that he could get a penis enlargement, but then failed to pay the money back. He also makes a number of other outrageous (yet awesome) claims, including a story about the Biebs stealing his credit card to purchase cocaine so that he and Sean aka “P-Diddy” or “Puff Daddy” or “Puffy” Combs could use it in drug-free school zones. Usually we don’t speak the words Justin and Bieber, but this story is simply fantastic. Can’t wait to find out how this all unfolds.

  • Soldiers of Fortune, Bill Corbett and Start Kellen Moore

So during yesterday morning's show, we decided it was time to start a movement. After watching the Detroit Lions drop to a 2-4 record with Matthew Stafford as the starting Quarterback, we believe that it's Kellen Moore's time. So, we created a fbook page called "Start Kellen Moore" in which we are attempting to rally the troops to push for Kellen Moore as the starting Quarterback in Detroit. It's time to give the winningest Quarterback in college football history a chance. Please, give our page a "like" and join the movement. Tell your friends and family to tell their friends, co-workers, the boss' dog and so on.

  • DVDumbass, Justin Willman and Adelita's Way

For the second straight day on Cage Match, a new Champion has been voted in. Adelita’s Way and their track “Alive” knocked off Manafest by a whopping two votes. Check out the music video for "Alive" below and tune in at 9:30AM tomorrow to check out more new music and then place your votes live on-air at (208) 287-1003.

  • Soccer Punch, Disaster Disguise and Jennifer Worick

We also kicked off the week with a laugher of a GTH story. Joshua Pinney decided to steal another man’s identity in an attempt to claim his debit card. The 30-year-old strolled into a Bank of America over in Washington and showed them an Oregon ID after stating that he needed a new debit card. The man also mentioned that he was on a business trip and had recently been in an accident of sorts. The branch manager could easily tell that Pinney’s disguise was fake and immediately contacted local police.

  • Life Lessons, MMA Fighters and Free X Shows

We closed out the week on The Morning After with another Free X Show announcement. On Tuesday, November 20th, a band by the name of Leogun will be right here in Boise at the Knitting Factory. You can’t purchase tickets, as the only way to get some is right here on 100.3 The X Rocks.

  • Big J's Tech Tour, David Zayas from Dexter and Celebrity Sperm

During “Headlines” today, we discussed celebrity sperm. Yeah, you know, just another typical conversation here in the studio. Apparently a website called Fame Daddy is looking to sell celebrity sperm for upwards of $20,000 to women across the globe who would like to birth a child with some celebrity genes.

  • Halloween Blood Drive, Sports with Pete and New Staind

This Saturday, we are putting on a Halloween Blood Drive at Office Max on Broadway in Boise. Debi from American Red Cross stopped by the studio today in her Halloween costume to chat about the upcoming event. Please stop by and show your support. Giving blood saves lives. Not to mention, we will some Megadeth tickets to give away along with a gorgeous autographed Deftones guitar and oh yeah, a chance to win a trip to sit on the set of AMC's "The Walking Dead." The entire X staff will be on site, so come on down and join us. More info here.

  • DVDumbass, Urine Dunk and James Gunn in Vegas

Today’s GTH story comes at us courtesy of a group of Cleveland Browns fans, a handful of cash and a bucket of urine. During a recent Cleveland Browns tailgate party, a group of fans pooled together $450 for one man who was dared to dunk his dome into a bucket of pee. I’m not sure what’s more impressive, the amount of cash they pulled together during a tailgate, the man actually pulling off the stunt, or the fact that the group managed to produce enough urine to fill this bucket all the way to the brim. See for yourself below.

  • BCS Knockout, Enema Fun and Abe from Deftones

We kicked off the week with a Punch to the Face via Big J's fist, which came as a knockout straight to the shady system known as the BCS. For years, teams like Boise State have been snubbed by this system of computer generated college football rankings for reasons unkown. The system is composed of six computers, all of which have a particular protocol for crunching numbers, however they are not allowed to release all of the exact details on how each computer determines their respective rankings. College football is one of the only team sports that does not determine a champion based on a true playoff system. Every player on every team in every sport should have some sort of shot at competing for a Championship. If they aren’t cut out to win, then they will simply lose in the playoffs, but should at least get that one chance. Hence March Madness: one of the most popular and exciting playoff systems in the history of sports. As long as you win your conference, no matter how big or small, you automatically get a bid into the tournament. Why not do the same thing for football? Oh yeah, because college football is all about money and corruption, not about the purity of collegiate competition.

  • Big J's Life Lesson, All That Remains and The Morning After Makeover

This week’s Life Lesson, courtesy of radio’s Big J, is to keep calm and stay out of trouble. The lesson comes at the hands of a trip to Ann Morrison Park where a “frolf” disc flew in front of his car the other day. As he drove past the disc instead of stopping, a hippied out “frolfer” became upset and reacted with a display of utter disgust. Instead of stopping to fight the kid as Big J of the past might have done, he kept calm and “chived on.” (Big J's own words) Plus, as he also stated on the show, he would have treated the kid like a “grizzly bear would a man.”

  • Johnny Depp, Boxee TV and Katie Aselton (The League)

On this week’s Tech Tour, Big J introduced Boxee TV. This device is like a combination of all your favorite streaming devices into on box. Check out how it works below and all the info you need right here. In movie news, Expendables 2 on Blu-Ray hits shelves on November 20th and will be the first movie ever to have 11.1 Channel DTS audio.

  • Movie Review, Matthew Lillard and a Supergroup Takedown

It was another battle for the Deftones on Cage Match today. It took a few solid blows to defeat a supergroup made up of Tom Morello, Serj Tankian and Tim from Rise Against, but your Deftones pulled it out. Below is a glance at today's Challenger, tune in tomorrow to check out your Champion (and maybe win some tickets to their show along with a meet and greet).

  • Big J's Movie Pick, Another Announcement and Deftones

During this week’s installment of DVDumbass, Big J selected to watch “The 12 Dogs of Christmas: The Great Puppy Rescue” over “Rosewood Lane” and “People Like Us.” A little audible at the line of scrimmage, replacing the word “dogs” with “friends” is what lured Big J into picking this one. Can’t wait for tomorrow’s review on this one!

  • Big J's Punch, Tony Danza and Boob Booze

Today's Punch to the Face courtesy of radio's Big J goes out to all the Kansas City Chiefs fans that decided to cheer as their Quarterback, Matt Cassell, went down with an injury during Sunday's game. Now being a poor sport is one thing, but cheering for an injury is down right ridiculous and quite frankly a shame to sports around the globe.

  • Hulk Hogan's Sexcapade, Maggie Grace (Taken 2) and a Free X Show

Today's Bad Impression came courtesy of Hulk Hogan. He's in the news because apparently a sex tape of him was recorded without his knowledge and "blasted" (no pun intended) all over the interwebs. Usually, I like to post links into these blogs, but um, I will let you embark upon your own discoveries on this one, brother.

  • Tech Tour, Shipping Wars and a New Champion

During Big J’s Tech Tour, we learned about Aurasma. Created by Autonomy Corporation, Aurasma is primarily designed for 3G and 4G mobile devices and it uses the device's video camera to recognize pre-trained images and overlay an image or video so that the video tracks as the camera is moved. In more basic terms, this technology allows you to take a picture of an object and it bring up videos pertaining to that particular object. Or just ignore this entirely and watch the video below.

  • Bad Impressions, Battleship and Corey Taylor

Corey Taylor of Slipknot and Stone Sour made an appearance on the show this morning. We had the opportunity to catch up with him back stage at Rock Vegas. He talks to us aboutabout all the kinds of awesomeness that you would expect from Corey Taylor. Catch that full interview right here.

  • DVDumbass, Papa Roach and Cage Match Upset?

Jacoby and Tony from Papa Roach joined us on the show today to discuss their new album, “The Connection,” which hits shelves today. Check out the full interview right here and watch their video for "Still Swingin" below.
