Come on Boise! Let’s put ourselves above the rest and show we’re better than this. Earlier this week we talked about the Century Link beer fiasco. There is a viral video that showed damning evidence that a large $7 beer was the exact same amount of beer as the smaller $4 beer. Now, to be clear, there is nothing ok about misleading people about what they are paying for. Having said that, isn’t paying $4 for a 16oz beer kind of a rip itself? But we all do it. We like our beer at events and are willing to pay for it. Where do you draw the line? The person in charge of the concessions simply took the word of the supplier that the cups were what they said they were. Century Link has acknowledged the situation and is correcting it. Is a few hundred bucks really worth it? Seriously how much beer do people drink at these games? Doesn’t seem safe. Let’s move on folks.
