Big J's Life Lesson, Fisher Stevens and Nonpoint

  • Print

Big J’s “Life Lesson” came as a schooling on the importance of preparation for your big game party. His advice is to get everything taken care of in advance, so you aren’t fumbling (awful pun alert) around during the game to keep your guests entertained. Big J would also like to suggest meatballs and wieners as a part of your big game cuisine. True story.

A movie called “Stand Up Guys” hits theaters today and the Director, Fisher Stevens, was kind enough to join us on the show this morning. The film stars the likes of Al Pacino, Christopher Walken and Alin Arkin. You might also remember Mr. Stevens as an actor from a little 80’s film about a robot named Johnny 5. That’s right, "Short bleepin' Circuit!" Check out the trailer for “Stand Up Guys” below and place you clicker all up on this right here for our full conversation with the man himself.

Coming up! We have a few events going on this weekend that you should be aware of. First off, we present you with a live acoustic X Session featuring Nonpoint in our studios at 2PM this afternoon. Dial your radios to 100.3 or stream us live ( to catch all that action. Following the X Sesh, join us down at the Knitting Factory this evening as Nonpoint, Candlelight Red, Ripchain and Bukkit take the stage. If you can’t make that or weren’t able to get tickets, come out to Beef O’ Brady’s on Sunday afternoon for our Big Game Party! We have Volbeat and Flogging Molly tickets to give away, along with a Deftones autographed guitar and free beer! Yes, free beer on Beef's from kickoff up until the first team scores. See you this weekend!
