Life Lessons, MMA Fighters and Free X Shows
Big J’s Life Lesson this week was for those of us that grew up during the era of old fashioned paper report cards. The fact is, we should all be thankful for that privilege we had back in the day. These days, parents can pull up report cards instantly online, along with always knowing about absences, missed assignments, etc. Kids of the current times don’t have the luxury of time to prepare for trouble while the calm before the storm is about to hit. When I was younger, being grounded to the house was terrible when all you wanted to do was go outside and hang out with your friends. Now days, kids actually want to stay inside and play video games, text, etc. Kids these days (shaking fist in disgust).
Today we had a MMA fighter by the name of Clay Guida call into the show. He will be out at Ideal Spine Center at 9AM tomorrow morning to sign autographs and take photos. We will also be out there from 4-6PM with a handful of prizes. Find out what Clay had to say right here.
We closed out the week on The Morning After with another Free X Show announcement. On Tuesday, November 20th, a band by the name of Leogun will be right here in Boise at the Knitting Factory. You can’t purchase tickets, as the only way to get some is right here on 100.3 The X Rocks.
