Let's do a Wednesday recap, shall we?
Morning After News: The Idaho Stampede have a new Head Basketball Coach. Michael Peck, who coached one of the most dominant high school teams in the nation, will take charge of the Stampede after a two year stint by Randy Livingston. Peck raked in a 157-8 record in five seasons at Findley College Prep Program at the Henderson International School in Nevada. The team was #1 in the country in 2009. This is a great move by the Stampede. After this hire and Leon Rice taking over at Boise State, basketball should soon be on the rise here in The Treasure Valley again.
A 29-year-old gal and her husband were out dancing Saturday night in Houston, Texas before flesh biting took place. After a late night on the town, the woman started arguing with her husband and when the woman’s sister made an attempt to break up the fight, she bit the husband on the arm and bit the sister’s nose right off. Followed by a Mike Tyson spit, she was then of course snatched up and tossed in jail.
Big J reviewed “6 Bullets” this morning. Jean-Claude Van Damme and his son star in the film about rescuing kids from child slavery. Big J relates the movie to “Taken,” but in a different setting. Overall, “6 Bullets” is Big J approved.
Also on the show, we discussed how terrible (Charles Barkley voice) our Fantasy Football teams are. The three of us lost our season openers this past week. I blame autodraft. No, I blame the local pool for making me late. Ok, I blame myself. You be the judge, here's the Nic Division & Big J Division.
It was a giant K.O. on Cage Match today. Offspring came out victorious over Chevelle. Look for them to return against Hellyeah tomorrow. Not an easy task for the fellas of Offspring, but you never know when it comes to song fights.
See you all at The Cabin in the Woods tonight! Join us tomorrow for a recap of the film along with a visit from Theo Rossi of Sons of Anarchy. Bamm!
