Hottest Chick of Hard Rock, Tech Tour and Dave Grohl Tweet

Here’s what you missed on Thursday’s show:

Today’s Bad Impression goes out Michael Keaton. He’s in the news because he’s playing the bad guy in a new Robocop film.

Morning After News: studies state that it’s recommended to wash your hands long enough to sing “Happy Birthday” twice. In sports, NFL kicks off next week and still plans to use the replacement officials. Lzzy Hale has officially been named as the “Hottest Chick of Hard Rock.” She tops a list of 25 including In This Moment’s Maria Brink and Amy Lee of Evanescence. Well, duh! Family Guy creator, Seth MacFarlane, will be hosting the season debut of Saturday Night Live. Anything that man touches turns to comedic gold, so that should guarantee at least this episode of SNL will be funny.

In Springhill, Florida, a 23 year-old-woman who had been living with her boyfriend for the past 6 months found herself in jail Wednesday for attacking him after he refused to have sex with her. She put the moves on and he refused, saying “we are no longer together Cathleen, why don’t you just leave?” That’s when she attacked him with a lamp. I think this goes without saying, but this is exactly why you should never live with an ex.

Today’s Tech Tour courtesy of Big J was all about the “Power-Up” arcade light switch plate. Think arcade joystick with the giant buttons, but a light switch. Check it out below.

Important Stuff: a new study shows that friendships kids make in high school are more important to them than their grades. In sports, as we all know, tomorrow the Boise State football season kicks off at Michigan State. Tune into ESPN at 6 o’clock to catch the action. Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters went online to squash rumors about the band breaking up by tweeting, "Jeesh! Relax, Iwas only talking to England! About England. Stop evesdropping internets!" The tweet came in response to comments he made during a Foo Fighters show in England about the band being done touring for awhile. All I can say is thank f'ing goodness.

Daybreak Embrace made their returning Champ debut on Cage Match today. They squared off against a new song from Muse. Daybreak Embrace took the crown in brutal fashion.

Join us tomorrow as we bring some Hooters girls in the studio, give out more Fantasy Football slots and of course plenty of ticket giveaways.

Nic - II    Big J - I

Monday - Happy Birthday Peter Loeffler! Hard to pick a favorite Chevelle song which is probably why there was a tie between Anj's choice of The Clincer and Big J's choice of Send the Pain Below. Tie it is.

Tuesday -  Songs that could use subtitles that make sense?  The tie goes to Nic with his choice of Pearl Jam Yellow Leadbetter although Big J's choice of Static X Cannibal was just as inaudiable.

Wednesday -  Happy Birthday Spike Jones!  Thank You for the awesome videos you gave us. Today's rock war ends in yet ANOTHER TIE.  Nic's choice of Tenacious D Wonderboy beats Big J's choice of Beastie Boys Sabotage.  Hard to chose for sure but somebody has to come out victorious.

Thursday -  Reality shows are everywhere!  What band would you tune in to watch week after week?  Big J wins with All that Remains Stand up beating Nic's Puddle of Mudd Give me Shelter choice.

Friday - In honor of Mark Zuckerberg delivering a speech in Chinese we will war with bilingual songs. Big J's Romstein America beats out  Nic's Beck Loser.
