Mel Gibson & Big J's DVDumbass Review

  • Print

Happy 4th of July everyone!

While the rest of the town is out enjoying the Holiday, we here at The Morning After like to ensure you still have a brand new morning show to enjoy. Today on the show we learned that Mel Gibson is back at it and chalking up restraining orders. What happened to you Riggs?! Murtaugh would be so dissapointed. Then we learned about a Florida man who's hand was chomped off by a gator and re-attached. Oh, and if you find a jar of body parts in your garage, turn them in because they could be valuable scientific specimens worth upwards of $400,000. True story. We also endured another movie review courtesy of Big J on the show today. If you like poo humor and find yourself a fan of Trey Parker & Matt Stone, check out Ted & Eric's Billion Dollar Movie. If you are more prone to an organized style of humor, you might want to pass on this one. Halestorm ran away with another Cage Match victory against Flobots. Lizzy Hale and the crew will be back tomorrow as 311 attempts to throw a punch at the Champion.

Come back Thursday for all your post Mayhem Fest & 4th of July fun!

Be safe and enjoy your Holiday folks!

RoCk WaRs!

Nic - II    Big J - I

Monday - Happy Birthday Peter Loeffler! Hard to pick a favorite Chevelle song which is probably why there was a tie between Anj's choice of The Clincer and Big J's choice of Send the Pain Below. Tie it is.

Tuesday -  Songs that could use subtitles that make sense?  The tie goes to Nic with his choice of Pearl Jam Yellow Leadbetter although Big J's choice of Static X Cannibal was just as inaudiable.

Wednesday -  Happy Birthday Spike Jones!  Thank You for the awesome videos you gave us. Today's rock war ends in yet ANOTHER TIE.  Nic's choice of Tenacious D Wonderboy beats Big J's choice of Beastie Boys Sabotage.  Hard to chose for sure but somebody has to come out victorious.

Thursday -  Reality shows are everywhere!  What band would you tune in to watch week after week?  Big J wins with All that Remains Stand up beating Nic's Puddle of Mudd Give me Shelter choice.

Friday - In honor of Mark Zuckerberg delivering a speech in Chinese we will war with bilingual songs. Big J's Romstein America beats out  Nic's Beck Loser.
