Reel Big Fish - January 14, 2013
Not your average band Reel Big Fish is an American ska punk band from Huntington Beach, California, best known for the 1997 hit "Sell Out." Originally starting out as pop rock, the band grew to include a trumpet section which set them apart as a ska band. Being at the right place at the right time, the Southern California group inched into popularity when ska and punk were beginning to catch attention. Having toured with the likes of Kiss, The Cure and the Blues Brothers, it comes as no surprise that The band gained mainstream notability with the release of the album Turn the Radio Off. Founding member Aaron Barrett has been with the band since 1992, and horn players Dan Regan and Scott Klopfenstein have been involved with the band for more than 14 years.
See them live at The Knitting Factory in downtown Boise.
